Adventure of the Devil's Foot

I chose this paragraph-Watson's illusion- as the most slash moment of this story. I know the scene of them lying side by side may be good (and romantic) as well, but for some reason I always believe one's unconscious thinking reflects their real feeling.

The thing Watson fears most is Holmes' death. What did Holmes see in his illusion, I wonder?
